I want to ride a motorcycle, what bike should I buy?

Shari Ives Instruction

One of the most frequently asked questions from a new rider is “which bike should I buy?” It will require some thought on your part, because no one can really tell you which bike is “right” for you.

You will need to do some research before you buy.

Things to be mindful of are,

Your budget,  (a used bike might be easier on your wallet) your physical condition, engine size and how the bike “fits” you.

Smaller bikes might be easier to learn on for a new rider. Make sure both of your feet can be placed flat on the ground & that you can physically hold the bike upright. Look for controls that are adjustable, clutch & brake levers, seats & handlebars too.

Also decide if you are going to ride for fun, commuting, touring, (long trips) or sport riding.

Whatever you decide always remember to wear proper riding gear that fits you in a “riding position”  when trying to find a bike that fits you.  Ride safe & enjoy !!!!
