We are able to waive the road test upon successful completion of the course if you have a NJ auto license. There is no guarantee, you must demonstrate the skills and pass the test.
NEW LAWS: If you under 18 this class is mandatory if you want to ride.
You do not need a valid NJ motorcycle permit to take the class effective Sept.26th,2011. However, if you plan on riding before the class you still need a permit to ride legally on the street
What you will need for class :
Long sleeve shirt or jacket,Eye protection,Jeans or leather pants,Full finger gloves ,Over the ankle boot with rubber soles,Helmet ( which we can provide for you)***Remember you will be outside in the sun with no shade or in the rain**You will need plenty of water and gatorade even in colder weather***
3 day weekend classes will be held on Fri 6-10:00p.m., Sat, 7a.m.- 3p.m. and Sun 7a.m. -2p.m. You must be on time and attend all sessions. Please allow an extra 15 min Friday night if you are coming up RT 23 from Rt 80.
2 day weekend classes which will be Sat. 8a.m. - 6p.m. and Sunday 10-7 p.m.
2 day weekday classes and the schedule for them is: Monday/Tuesday 8-6 or Thurs./Fri 8-6.
All daily end times are approximate. You must be on time.
You must be able to ride and balance a bicycle.
We have 2011 Suzuki GZ 250's and 2012 Yamaha Virago 250's to learn on and the Best instructors. Safety is our priority. New bikes are easier to learn on. All controls work perfectly.We cannot guarantee your successful completion of the course.
******Standby if a class says its full:Come to 107 Newark-Pompton Turnpike Riverdale,NJ 07457 on Fri night or Saturday a.m.as a standby if there is a no-show you can get in the class. Be there by 5:30 p.m. on Friday or by 7:45 a.m. Saturday, Monday or Thurs. for our 2 day classes. See below. Standby is on a first come first serve basis.
If weekends dont work for you, call us to arrange a private class. It can be done in 2 consecutive weekdays. The cost is higher but done around your schedule. Call for details.

*After you register you will be sent a confirmation, cancellation policy,directions, booklet to read and answer questions, and directions either via email or regular mail( only if you dont have access to email). School T Shirts in long and short sleeve available at Riverdale. Long sleeve $25 and short sleeve $20. The money from the shirts pays for parts for our bikes. Please help us so we can provide the best equipment for our students. |
